At the end of March Secantor staged a seminar at Leeds Metropolitan University Faculty of Business and Law aimed at helping SME owner managers better understand the challenges of business in this banking led recession.
Over forty people attended the event to hear advice from a range of experts on how to prepare for success in 2010 by ensuring that their company survives the credit-crunch and trading difficulties of 2009.
It was opened by the Dean of the Business School, who, until recently, was Head of International Banking at RBS. Martin Allison was able to give an update on how best to relate to banks and he described the benefits and limitations of the various government backed finance schemes.
