Secantor has helped Rubric, a provider of localization services to the high technology industry for the past 15 years, to acquire Web-lingo, an established translation services provider based in South Africa. Web-lingo will become a division of the Rubric Group. With the merger, Rubric will establish its presence in South Africa and throughout the African continent where localization needs are on the rise. More companies are seeing the need to localize content into the 10 official South African languages as well as numerous languages throughout the continent. Furthermore, South Africa is a major development hub for mobile applications and producers of those applications that require extensive automated localization services.
